Impetus:

Impetus is a responsible finance provider (social enterprises formally known as a CDFI) working in the West Midlands and Gloucestershire, set up in 2004 in the wake of the foot and mouth crisis. We provide access to loan finance for new and emerging businesses and social enterprises which are in a finance gap.
Since 2005 we have lent over £10m, made 600 loans, and supported or created 1000 jobs. In so doing our local economic impact has been recorded at over £60m.

In April 2023 Impetus (which is the trading name of MRRT Ltd) became part of the Aston Reinvestment Trust and all enquiries with respect to loans should be made to that organisation:
