Impetus:

Impetus is a responsible finance provider (social enterprises formally known as a CDFI) working in the West Midlands and Gloucestershire, set up in 2004 in the wake of the foot and mouth crisis. We provide access to loan finance for new and emerging businesses and social enterprises which are in a finance gap.
Since 2005 we have lent over £10m, made 600 loans, and supported or created 1000 jobs. In so doing our local economic impact has been recorded at over £60m.
Impetus is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and it accredited for the Community Investment Tax Relief.
